Thank you to all who participated in this year's All-Access Experience for the Preteens.
We had 17 kids in attendance for our "camp in a day" and they all had such a blast. It was so cool to see all the kids get into their sleuthing skills to solve the day's mystery and decode what love truly is. What an incredible way to launch our Preteen Ministry.
Thank you to all our adult volunteers and we hope that every kid had an amazing time; especially exploring their questions about Jesus and love.
The Preteen All Access Experience was a great day packed with excitement fun and mystery.
We started off the day with an envelope that mysteriously appeared containing bible verses, phrases, a mirror, and a letter sending the whole group into a deep dive investigating the true meaning and nature of LOVE.
The envelope included verses from 1 John, mainly chapter 4 verses 7-21. We learned that The Bible is the authority of love, Jesus is the image of God’s love and our perfect example to follow, and later reflected on how Jesus is with us always- so we don’t have to be afraid as if we’re following His example from afar- or trying to spread His love in our own.
Preteens continued their dive into decoding love in their small groups with games, prayer, discussion and of course opening their bibles and reading the word together.
Outside of small groups, preteens tried to unravel the thread of clues left by the one who made the envelope to discover who it was. They investigated pieces of the missing signature on the mysterious letter. Finding a letter here and there, they spent their whole lunch casting theories on which one of their leaders was behind it all.
