Maybe it's because we just discussed this, but so much of this ritual is designed to us to REMEMBER. Just in the beginning of Lev 9:1-17- the Levites come in special clothing (remembering they are set apart for a specific purpose), anointed with oil (remembering that God intended us to be holy as He is holy), unlevenbread (remember the wildernesses and God's provision), calling the entire community (so they will witness and remember), the embroidered tunic (symbolism to remember Gods story through the sons of Israel), the blood of the bull (that sin results in death), and the purifying organs (liver and kidney) were set apart and the rest is sent into the wildernesses (like the scapegoat) to be burn…
